Paintings

These paintings were created by artist Terence Claydon who was born in Canning Town in 1946. He is inspired by his childhood memories of growing up in Canning Town, which feature Rathbone Market, Murkoff's Ice Cream, and taking the North Woolwich Ferry. His artworks are made painting with acrylic or created digitally. All of the paintings presented here are now kept digitally in our Hidden-Histories archive.
